This is real, truly fermented mirin (hon-mirin) made in Mikawa, Japan by the Sumiya family, one of the last of the traditional mirin makers. It’s made with a touch of sea salt and tastes so incredible, it’s hard not to drink straight up! It’s truly above and beyond imitation aji-mirin.
